Osei-Duro was developed by Maryanne Mathias and Molly Keogh who wanted to create socially responsible clothing that encouraged international/intercultural cooperation. By working directly with the West African garment workers they employ they are able to maintain high quality standards and pay their employees a fair wage. They work with natural materials such as hand-spun cotton and use hand-dyed fabrics to create these amazingly beautiful and unique pieces.
I own the tunic in the bottom picture. I love it and intend to buy more from this responsible label.
